Orientation - Locarno
Yesterday in Grindelwald, we had an amazing hike! We took gondolas up to the top of a hill, and then did about a 3 hour hike down to the train station that took us back to our hotel. I've made some really nice friends- everyone here is so welcoming!
Today we drove to Locarno. We went to a gorgeous church, got some gelato, and now we are waiting to have dinner and present silly skits in front of the class.
I've gotten to learn so much about Canadian customs and the differences between Canadians and Americans- the pronunciation of "sorry" and "about," the celebration of thanksgiving, aritzia, canadian costco, swedish berries, and "zed."
I cannot wait to get even closer with these wonderful people!
(And I'm so excited I finally found some wifi)
