Orientation Day 2- Grindelwald

Today my jetlag is almost gone (hallelujah)! The class hiked up to this area where we played some team bonding games, and then we hiked some more and walked across a rope bridge!

A few friends and I decided to explore the downtown area- it was very charming! It was odd to see one Indian restaurant and one Korean restaurant! 

A vending machine with pregnancy tests, packets of lighters, and marijuana drinks, among other Swiss treats!

The people in my class are all super nice, so I'm excited to get to know them all better throughout the year! It's a bit awkward because everyone is Canadian so sometimes I can't really relate, and I keep getting questions about California and how I found out about NJC. But anyway I can tell this year will be one of the best experiences of my life!
